What is Barvol exactly?
Barvol is a company intelligence platform. It connects your tools, tracks your commitments and decisions, keeps your customer history, and gives you and your investors a live picture of what is actually happening in your company.
How is Barvol different from a docs tool or an issue tracker?
Those tools hold what you put into them. Barvol reads what already happens in your email, meetings, code, and revenue, and builds the record for you. You don't maintain it.
Does Barvol replace my existing tools?
No. It connects them. Your team keeps using Slack, Notion, and GitHub. Barvol reads what happens there and adds the record of commitments and decisions on top.
How does the investor portal work?
You connect to an investor's fund through Barvol. Once you approve the connection, your investor gets a live view of your execution: commitment track record, Reality Score, and key metrics. You control the optional fields.
Which integrations does Barvol support?
Gmail, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Linear, Jira, Stripe, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Notion, plus import from Google Drive. The full list is on the integrations page.
Which AI models does Barvol use?
Barvol uses leading AI models through commercial API agreements. Your data is never used to train them. The sub-processors we use are listed in our privacy policy.
How is my data protected?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with AES-256, with separate keys per channel and file. Two-factor authentication is available on every account. Our security page lists what we do and what we do not yet claim.
